This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GARMENT.
The Busy Bee Swim Bottoms have an option for everyone. Two pieces make mixing and matching and bathroom break so easy! These bottoms have a reat classic fit and look that will be in style for years. The ruching is a fun detail to add variety. Whether the little one you’re sewing for likes to wear them low, mid, or high the Busy Bee’s have them covered! They’re booty will also be covered in the classic brief fit. The construction is simple and quick- this is a great first swim pattern for someone who is wanting to try sewing a swimsuit for the first time.
Options include: low rise, mid rise, high rise, all in plain or ruched side seams. You can partially line or fully line any option. Legs and waistline are hemmed under with swim elastic for a super quick, simple sew.
Enjoy several videos throughout the tutorial like grading between sizes, complete sew ups with ruched, plain, fully lined and partially lined.

You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM pages with LAYERS options at printing in both US Letter, A4 , A0 Copy Shop File, a Projector File, a cutting guide for rectangle pieces and rectangle pattern pieces (so you can pick your preference to print a piece or not), and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.

- A4 PDF: Print at home and assemble the pages.
- A0 copy-shop PDF: For a print shop that prints large pattern sheets.
- Projector file: For a sewing projector setup.
Printing and file help
Start with the instructions for your pattern and choose an available file that matches how you plan to use it.
- Save the PDF to your device. For reliable access to size layers, open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader desktop app. Layer support varies in other PDF viewers.
- For home printing, choose Actual size or 100%. Turn off options that shrink, enlarge, or fit the pattern to the page.
- Print the page with the test square first. Measure it against the dimensions shown in your file before printing the remaining pages.
If your file has size layers, select the sizes you need and keep any shared markings shown in the instructions. Follow the pattern’s page layout when assembling.
If your PDF app asks for an editing password, switch to viewing or printing instead. You do not need editing access to print the pattern.
