Description
This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.
Gather ’round is a cute and comfortable pattern that has so many options you’ll never tire of making new versions. Take this pattern from summer to winter, from top to long dress, in a casual jersey to a stretch velvet and everything between. You have several crew neckline options and a lower, more open v neckline as well. From tank to long sleeves as well as some gorgeous gathered sleeve options as well. The top length is between a crop and shirt, perfect to pair with your favorite higher waisted bottoms. The above knee dress is a bit shorter to balance out the wider, looser bodice. The three tier dress gives a dramatic and stunning longer dress. The bodice is fitted at bust, but loose at underbust and waist. If you prefer a more fitted waist, you can add on the waist tie option and cinch the waist tighter. Don’t forget the pockets too, because they’re always fun to have.
Choose from options: rounded neckline, v neckline, gathered crew neckline, mock turtleneck, tank/sleeveless, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, long sleeve, gathered cap sleeve, gathered long bishop sleeve, top length (between crop and shirt), plain above knee dress, two tiered above knee dress, three tiered midi/tea length dress, waist ties, and pockets.
Worried about sewing up the Gather ’round? Don’t be! We have helpful videos and blogs linked throughout the tutorial.
The Gather ’round is drafted for a stretch knit fabric. Some of our favorites are: rayon/modal/bamboo knit, ribbed knits, double brushed poly, yummy rib knit, waffle knit , ITY/DTY knit, pointelle, cotton spandex, stretch velvet, french terry, jersey knit, etc.
