Description
This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.
The Mae Top is the perfect bikini top for looking and feeling great. The classic triangle shape will never go out of style and with all the options you’ll have the perfect top in no time. The thicker straps give you plenty of support while keeping the tan lines to a minimum. You can choose from a plain gathered center front or add on a cute little tie knot or center loop. If your measurements hit different sizes there are also regular pieces, small bust adjustment pieces and full bust adjustment pieces so you can spend more time sewing and less time making fit adjustments. It is fully lined and you can easily add in an innerlining of powermesh or swim cups if you prefer. You can also choose the 3/4″ elastic along the bottom underbust edge for more support as well. You can make an adorable bralette with this pattern easily by swapping swim fabric and elastics to cotton spandex and clear elastic.
Pattern options for the Mae Top includes:
- Center Front: Plain Gathered / Center Knot / Center Loop
- Fit Options: Regular Pieces / Small Bust Adjustment Pieces / Full Bust Adjustment Pieces
- Lining: Fully Lined / Innerlining
- Underbust Elastic: 3/8″ / 3/4″
- Optional Swim Cups
The Mae Top Pattern is drafted for high stretch swim knit fabrics.
Specific Fabric Suggestions: Swim Knits or cotton spandex for a bralette.
