Description

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GARMENT.

Nothing beats feeling like you’re putting on a warm cozy hug of a sweater when it’s cold outside! The Oversized Sweater is just that! The super loose fit gives you freedom to choose thick, warm, even the fluffiest fabrics to snuggle into!
You can pick from 3 necklines: classic crew, a tall turtleneck, or a hood (with optional drawstrings). Then pair it with your choice of hemlines: split high low, curved, or tight waistband. You can add a kangaroo style pocket on the tight waistband or split high low hem option as well.  With all these options you can create such different final looks from a chic sweater to an athletic hoodie. 
The loose fit allows you to use a variety of fabrics like sweater knits, french terry, sweatshirt fleece, fleece, sherpa, etc.
Enjoy videos throughout the pattern tutorial such as help with fabric choices, choosing a size and fit description, and sewing the split high low hem.

Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X, Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X (sizing/measurement chart in the product images). Both imperial and metric measurements included. You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM PAGES and have LAYERS so you can print only the size you need. In US letter, A4, A0 Copy Shop and Projector formats, a cutting guide for rectangle pieces and rectangle pattern pieces included (so you can pick your preference to print a piece or not) and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.

Open the downloaded PDF in a PDF reader. For reliable access to size layers, use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader desktop app; layer support varies in other PDF viewers.

Printing and file help

Start with the instructions for your pattern and choose an available file that matches how you plan to use it.

  1. Save the PDF to your device. For reliable access to size layers, open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader desktop app. Layer support varies in other PDF viewers.
  2. For home printing, choose Actual size or 100%. Turn off options that shrink, enlarge, or fit the pattern to the page.
  3. Print the page with the test square first. Measure it against the dimensions shown in your file before printing the remaining pages.

If your file has size layers, select the sizes you need and keep any shared markings shown in the instructions. Follow the pattern’s page layout when assembling.

If your PDF app asks for an editing password, switch to viewing or printing instead. You do not need editing access to print the pattern.
