Classic Sports Bra
This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.
The Classic Sports Bra is a wonderful staple item in your pattern collection and wardrobe. You can create a comfortable light impact lounge wear bra from cotton spandex or other comfortable knit fabrics with high 4 way stretch (double brushed poly). Or create a medium impact sports bra using heavier weight athlethic knits like supplex, atheltic brushed poly, and other athlethic knits. You can add more support by inner-lining with power mesh, power net, techsheen. You can use the removable cup option to slide cups in and out for more coverage when wanted. You can choose from a lighter support 2 row hook and eye back closer or a more supportive 3 row hook and eye back closure. You can also choose between those 2 elastic band widths paired with a full back option. The hook and eye bra back closure option is so nice for getting the tight sports bra on and off!
Pattern includes sizes XXS-Plus 5X to our size chart, but also includes a small bust adjustment and full bust adjustment pieces if your bust hits a size smaller or bigger then our chart! Taking the time you’d spend altering and giving it back to sewing <3
Enjoy several videos throughout the tutorial including fabric and supply suggestions, explanation of small and full bust pieces, burrito roll lining method-including sewing in elastic to the seams, attaching the bottom band for bra closure option, attaching the hook and eye closure, piecing the front color-block pieces, and TWO complete sew ups from start to finish with different options!
Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X, Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X (sizing/measurement chart on last picture). Both imperial and metric measurements included.
