Homecoming Hoodie – Youth

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.

The Homecoming Hoodie is perfect to show off your spirit for a team or everyday comfortable look.  Choose from hood, with or without some cute animal ears, a funnel collar or classic neckband.  Add a cute kanga pocket to the hip, thigh, curved hem or knee lengths for keeping your hands tucked in warm or holding treasures.  The short sleeves are perfect for warmer weather and long sleeves will keep you cozy in the cooler months. The semi-fitted look is perfect for an array of fabrics.

Pattern options for the Homecoming Hoodie includes:

• Necklines: Crew Neckline / Funnel Collar / Hood / Hood with Bunny, Cat, or Bear Ears
• Hem Lengths: Crop / Hip Length / Thigh Length / Curved Hem / Knee Length
• Sleeves: Short Sleeve / Long Sleeve
• Optional Kanga Pocket (excluding crop length)
• All Versions Feature a Drop-Shoulder Dolman Sleeve

The Homecoming Hoodie pattern is drafted for stable stretch knits with some stretch. For a comfortable fit fabric should have around 30% or more horizontal stretch. The funnel collar does best with thicker, stable fabric so the funnel stands up.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: french terry, double knits, sweatshirt knit, athletic knit, stretch terry knits, brushed rib knits, waffle knits, sweater knits, thermal, micro fleece, etc.
