Mae Top – Bundle

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.

The Mae Top is the perfect bikini top with it’s classic style.  You can also use it to make a bralette by simple changing from swim fabric and elastic to cotton spandex and clear elastics.  If your measurements hit different sizes there are Small Bust Adjustment and Full Bust Adjustment pieces so you can spend more time sewing and less making fit adjustments. The triangle shape is a timeless look and the gathered center provides more coverage for the larger cup sizes while keeping the classic shape.  You can choose from using a traditional 3/8″ elastic along the underbust or for the adult you can choose the 3/4″ underbust elastic that adds more support for heavier cup sizes.  You can go for the simple gathered center or add on a center knot or center loop for a cute detail. This top is fully lined, so if you prefer to add an innerlining of powermesh or swim cups it is very easy to to.

Choose from the many options to create the perfect Mae Top or multiple variations for you and your little one…or whoever is lucky enough to get one sewn for them!

Pattern options for the Mae Top include:

• Center: Plain Gathered / Center Knot /Center Loop
• Lining: Fully Lined
• Fit Options: Regular Pieces / (Adult Only) Small Bust Adjustment Pieces / (Adult Only) Full Bust Adjustment Pieces
• Underbust Elastic: 3/8″ Elastic / (Adult Only) 3/4″ Elastic

The Mae Top is drafted for high stretch swim knit fabrics.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: Swimsuit knits, Cotton Spandex for a bralette.

Adult Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X , Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X  (sizing/measurement chart on last picture). Adult sizing available alone here: Mae Top

Both imperial and metric measurements included. You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM PAGES with layers! In US letter, A4,  A0 copy shop , and Projector files, both rectangle pattern pieces and a cutting guide for rectangle pieces (so you can choose your preference), and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.
