This may be in the wrong place but I could not find a link to send you a message. I wanted to say thank you! I shared a picture of your free slipper pattern on my facebook page so I could find it again and a former patient of mine contacted me and asked if I could make a pair for a lady with lymphedema as her feet were always cold because her feet were so swollen nothing would fit. I made a pair for me to learn and then made a sample for her. They were too tight even though I thought I had enlarged the pattern to fit the 16 inch swelling. Even though the first one was too tight she wanted to keep it as she loved it. I enlarged the top another inch and am sewing her two pairs today. I had to put in pleats in the top to fit the bottom (two pleats on each side) and that worked. I had to make the padding as an insert. Without your generosity, this would not have been possible. If she gives permission, do you want a picture? Even if she does not want a picture, I can do one with just the slippers with one of mine for comparison. I did not do the lining as it would have made it too tight and did not hem the top as that would have stopped the ability to stretch. It was my pleasure to make these for the lady but without your pattern, it would not have been possible. I sincerely appreciate your help and by the way the instructions and pattern were so easy!!!!
