Y2K Flares – Bundle

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.

The Y2K Flares Bundle includes both the adult and youth patterns, making it perfect for sewing for yourself and your playful, trend-loving kids or teens. Drafted for stretch knits with a soft fabric waistband, this pattern is an easy go-to for everything from running errands to hanging out home with your favorite hobbies in comfort. Designed with a snug fit from waist to thigh with a slight flare at the bottom hem, you can sew some up for yourself and bring back memories from your 2000’s fun or make a new generation fall in love with this trendy style.

Sew it up in athletic knit for sporty vibes, double brushed poly  or cotton spandex for everyday comfort, or ponte for a more structured look. Whether you’re keeping it casual or making something a little dressier, this pattern adapts beautifully to your fabric choice.

With three lengths to choose from, front pockets, three different waistbands, and an optional drawstring for one of the waistbands, you can create flares that fit your style and needs.  The side seam split at the bottom hem of the pant length make sure that your flares will lay nicely over any shoes you pair with them too. The adult come with several inseams, so you can make sure to have the perfect length.

Whether you’re sewing for picky preteens, stylish teens, or yourself, the Y2K Flares are sure to become a favorite.

Pattern options for the Y2K Flares includes:

• Lengths: Shorties (2″ for Adult)/ Bikers (5″ for Adult) / Pant Length (30″, 32″, 34″ for Adult)
• Rise: Highrise
• Waistbands: Regular Waistband (Optional Drawstring) / Fold Over Yoga Waistband / V Waistband
• Pockets: Front Pockets 
• Side Seam Split on Pant Lengths

The Y2K Flares pattern is drafted for high stretch knits with good recovery.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: athletic knit, cotton spandex, yummy rib knit, nylon spandex, etc.

Adult Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X , Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X  (sizing/measurement chart on last picture). Adult sizing available alone here: Y2K Flares

Both imperial and metric measurements included. You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM PAGES with layers! In US letter, A4,  A0 copy shop , and Projector files, both rectangle pattern pieces and a cutting guide for rectangle pieces (so you can choose your preference), and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.
